The original aim of 'Lincolnshire Folk' was to promote a common interest in:

Folk Music & Song
Traditional Dance- (Morris/Country/Clog)
Mummers Plays
Story Telling & Poetry

These aims are now more than adequately fulfilled by the annual Day of Lincolnshire Folk organised by the 600 Whiskies Folk Club and it was therefore at the last AGM it was decided that the two organisations would amalgamate.
